I'm going to LP tomorrow (Sunday). Will probably be there by 8 or 9am. Side onshore, and ALMOST 10C air temp... Water temp is about 49F according to coastwatch website.

Ted is right; TOO cold tomorrow (sat). 2C in the morning while the wind is blowing. 4C in the afternoon with little wind. Sunday is forecasting 6C in the afternoon with wind... I'm going to consider Sunday because if I haven't already had my last ...

Thanks for the info, Simon. I do normally check Windfinder or Sailflow. I also look at the lake buoys just before I head out (check out http://www.erh.noaa.gov/er/cle/marine/marine.html).
I normally kite on Lake Erie (LB if SW, TP if NE) or Lake Ontario (Weller if W or NW). I only asked you where you kite, since I will be in that neck of woods and I'm not familiar with the kiting beaches there. I don't expect to have a lot of time, so anything on the way from Sarnia to London would be OK. How is Kettle Point? It looks like it may be fine for East winds, even SE?

Hi Simon. I notice you are from London. I'll be in Sarnia on a business trip for the next 3 days and it looks like Wednesday (Jun 17) may be a good day for kiting (if I finish work early). Where is a good kiting spot near there if the wind is ESE? I see a beach in Sarnia called Canatara, but looks like it's only good for Northerly winds. Any suggestions?
