Another righteous Hatteras day: 30 - 42 MPH @ Waves - - 6 m is too much !!!! Just rocked and had a blast but in the end was too much - - but after an amazing day. Did a downwinder with an instructor and buddy on a jetski - - and the trip back (~ 20 minutes) was too much with monster Sound rollers crashing over the front of the jetski. Yoo Hoo...

I am no longer a kiting virgin and officially enjoyed some great runs yesterday on a 8m @ Hateras @ Waves - - - woooo!!!! For those of you who are experienced kiters, you may remember that 1st time you got up and blew down a downwind tack. Total extacy, esp. since the last time I tried (September), I landed up being pulled thropugh an oyster shell bed and then had 8 stitches and 6 months of physio for torn tendons. So this was super great baby!!!!!!
